George Shafer as Jake Kingsley

The Character:
If there is one word for the first impression anyone has of Jake it is: Asshole. He is one of the most powerful people on earth at only 25 and hated by most children at HCN for his position as Vice President of the children homing company. The only thing keeping him alive through his act of fake loyalty is his mask of wit and violence.

The Actor:
George Shafer was born in Richmond B.C. but grew up in West Chester, Pennsylvania. He moved back to Vancouver in 2014 to pursue a career in film. He graduated from Vancouver Film School in 2016 with a diploma in Acting for Film & Television, and has been working to establish his career in the city ever since attending acting workshops such as Matthew Lilliard, and writing his own screenplays. An avid supporter of human rights and social equality, George spends his free time marching in rallies and protests for progressivism.
