Darby Steeves as Jorina Faramond

The Character:
Jorina, alias Jo, is an outgoing, witty and smart young woman. Her big mouth and curious mind tend to get her into trouble. But she is genuinely caring and kind if she wants to be. Her curiosity will soon drag her into the corruption and danger that HCN radiates.

The Actress:
Darby Steeves is an American-trained triple-threat, having left home at age 17 to obtain her certificate in Musical Theatre from the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. Since graduation, Darby has worked as an actor, singer, and dancer on both screen and stage throughout New York City, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. Darby has worked on “Funny or Die” in NYC and the coming-of-age film “Breaking Legs” in LA as a screen dancer. Darby was a part of the original cast for the world premiere of “Nosferatu” in Hollywood, as well as Surreal Theatre’s premiere production in Gastown, a company she co-founded with her brother. Darby is currently starring in the Western Canadian Premiere of Maureen Hunter’s “Vinci.”
